The expansion of Bar Carrera into an adjacent East Village newsstand was just the beginning. Partners Frederick Twomey and Stefan Mailvaganam have converted the former De Marco’s in the South Village into a second branch of the tapas bar, equipped with Moroccan tile, high tables, and an identical menu.
